Last year I started refocusing on working out and eating healthier. I don’t have a bad diet but I wanted to make it better and limit alcohol consumption more. The plan was to get in shape for my upcoming trip to Machu Picchu. How that worked out is the subject for another post.

Recently I’ve become a bit cynical regarding self help and spirituality. I used to feel so connected to the universe but that has just disappeared. I decided to try to reconnect over the next month.

Here’s the plan :

I am going to say affirmations every morning and every night . I have dug out the affirmations I used many years ago when I was listening to Wayne Dyer. I used them at my happiest so it’s a good place to start again. There is already positive energy attached to them.

Also, I am going to write in my gratitude journal every day.

As I go through the month I will try to journal any progress on my outlook and whether I want to keep up the practice at the end of the month.

PS I am trying this post to see if I can start posting again without the thousands of spam comments. I certainly welcome non spam comments although I am still limiting them. I had at least stopped getting visitors from China and Russia so it’s a start.

Has anyone else gone through a similar journey? Anyone wanting to do this with me and see if there can reconnect?
